Well, it’s true. iTunes have apparently launched in Australia.

For poetic reasons, perhaps it should have been the #3 “Someday, Someday” by Thirsty Merc. (Although thankfully not #4 “It’s too late” by Evermore)

Update: AFR has stories on iTunes today, including one where I am quoted on page 59. BUT please note, I NEVER said that if fair use were to be adopted, then copying to iPods would be ok. It’s possible that such an argument could be made, but by no means certain…
